My stay at the hotel was quite the mixed experience. While the room was very smart and comfortable with a view of the Christ statue on a distant hill, reminiscent of Rio but on a smaller scale, it was disappointing to find it dirty. The service was a hit and miss, with the WiFi being a bit of a hassle upon return from work every evening, yet the staff were helpful and willing to assist with any requests I had, showing kindness and professionalism. The location was very good, situated in a park area or square that was perfect for exploring, with quick access to nice beaches and a view of Brazil from a distant hill. However, the dining experience was subpar, with a nasty atmosphere despite being stocked with food, mainly offering Italian products.
